Big Union Jacks (flags) will be painted on the hull of the ships and their funnels will have a rising illuminated sun on them.
Will this make the PandO fleet look like NCL's ships? Are PandO trying to make their ships more appealing to younger potential British clients or do you think it is purely PandO being patriotic?
Cunards' fleet are very recognizable with ther red funnels and black hulls. I suppose once P&O do this then their ships will stand out in ports of call.
The PandO fleet are taking turns going into dry dock to be refurbished. Arcadia has literally just come out in December 2013, two days late I might add.
when P&O use the name Britannia it have to be slightly elegant than splashing the too much bright colour for the decoration.
ReplyDeleteThe Cunard black & red funnels are stand out where ever they are. Is that too simple to attract for the younger generations? I am looking the 2 photos from Neil's web sight
How can they have the cheek to call themselves 'British', when they are based in Hamilton - meaning they don't have to pay as much tax ??
