Its not what you know.....

Well in this job we book clients to all sorts of lovely places abroad.  Some of these places require Vias's to visit.  It depends on where you go and which country require visa's.  For instance, St Petersburg in Russia, Vietnam and China require visas.

Also if you visit America and now Australia you have to apply for an entry visa. If you have any criminal convictions they it can be difficult to obtain these visa's and you will not be eligible to visit these countries.

Now the purpose of this blog is that last Saturday I was watching 'The X Factor' (while waiting for Match of the Day to come on I might add)  and one of the band members couldn't go to Gary Barlows' judges house in New York because he couldn't get a visa.  Ok,  so the other two band members went.  Anyhow they got through to the live finals and on their return to the UK Gary Barlow said that the third member of the band can join them in the finals because a visa had been sorted?

With the high flying Simon Cowell owning the rights to X Factor did he have some influence in getting the visa for the third band member or was it a clerical error? Call me cynical I think it was a television ploy to get people watching.

Well I guess the moral of this blog is if you know Gary Barlow and you cant get a visa......give him a call!!
