I'm walking on Sunshine

Well I have just returned of a 2 night trip off Carnival Sunshine.  I was a little skeptical about Carnivals' strap line 'Fun Ships' as I thought it was party all day and all night, beer drinking loud guests and general booze cruise clients.

I couldn't have been further from the truth.  Yes it is a family orientated cruise line however they do have a dividing line between family and if you were travelling with your partner.  The ships dress code is casual so people were evening dining  in shorts and polo shirts.

Carnival have realized that people who don't travel with kids need their own space and on Sunshine they have an outdoor space called 'Serenity'.  This is a three teared adults only area which has a small cool off pool which has a running waterfall, now here is a tip, don't pay for a neck massage in the Spa, just stand under this waterfall! It does the same and is so relaxing.  Mind you we had bet aand 26 seconds was the longest under water.

Also in Serenity there are cosy cabana type lounge areas which look like half shells.  These are dotted around the three decks and give you privacy for late night movies or relaxing and watching the world sail by.  These are available all night too hint hint!!

So just kick back and relax with a frozen strawberry mohito, get someone to apply the sunscreen to the places you can't reach and with the gentle splashing of the waterfall in the background have a great cruise.
