Adrenaline rush Carnival vs Royal Caribbean

Well as you are probably aware I have just come back from Carnival Sunshine.  One of the best features, well I think, is their racing water slides.

You have two slides, green and blue and you can race a friend or partner to the bottom.  These slides get faster as you get to the bottom.

As you can see they are pretty extreme, a tip from me, hold onto your bathing suit as you might not have it on by the time you get to the bottom! It is very fun making a bet with someone to see who is the fastest.  Needless to say it was quite close in the end.

Now put this up against what Royal Caribbean has to offer......

Royal Caribbean boast the 'Flo Rider'

This is a surfing machine which is actually on the ship.  I have not been on Independence however some of our cruise.co.uk agents have and they have said it is very exhilarating. Now the only way for me to see if this is better than Carnival Sunshine's water ride is to go on the ship.  Mind you I will have to save up for that, but if you have been on both then let me know which you preferred.
