Fred Olsen cruise lines have released a new 'Anchor' fare on some of their late sailings. The 'Anchor' fare is very similar to P&O and Cunards 'Getaway' fares.
The new fares terms and conditions include full payment at the time of booking, 100% cancellation charges, fares are non transferable and your cabin will be allocated up until your tickets are issued.
However here is the snag. With P&O and Cunard you can select your preferred dining. With these new 'Anchor' fares you cannot select your dining time, unless you pay an additional £2 per person per day (so on a 14 night cruise £28 per person).
Is this fair? I know you are getting your cruise at a cheaper price however are Fred Olsen ripping you off? Many people prefer a certain dining time and this is why Fred Olsen are doing this I guess.
