Watch out P&O!

When clients come back from cruises I have booked for them I try to give a courtesy call to make sure that everything went well on their cruise.

On recent sailings with P&O I have had mixed reviews on their holiday.
For instance –

‘Oriana looks tired on the inside.  Food has come out tough or cold’ Also ‘Oriana had a very pronounced shudder and over the dining table we heard that other passengers had complained that their cabin was very noisy and P&O said that there were no cabins to move to’
 

‘Arcadia are now charging 20p for a bookmark ’

‘Arcadia are not doing the normal silver service.  I received my food plated with no extra vegetables, I had to ask the waiter to get some more’

P&O have a huge past passenger following and little things like these have made clients wonder whether they would sail with P&O anymore.  I have even heard that clients are looking to change brands to Princess or Celebrity.

Of course these are individual opinions and everyone is different. I have clients who have just returned from other P&O ships and their cruises were excellent and no complaints at all.

In my opinion P&O need to look at the little things that will make them stand out from the competition as at the moment P&O are standing out for the wrong reasons!!
