Now I have not been to Majorca for over 20 years and the last time I went I stayed in Palma, so it will be interesting to see how the island has changed in all that time. There are reality TV shows about the Island and resort which makes me slightly dubious about going. My all night partying is far behind me now.
I think myself and my friends who are going will be the 'oldest swingers in town' however as long as the bar's are stocked up and the weather is fine I am sure we will be okay.
Last time i visited Magaluf there was a Karaoke bar called Bedrocks....now I have just looked and it seems that this bar no longer exists, so where am I going to warble now? Mind you there is a place called Coco Bongo's which advertise a free 'bull ride for stag and hen party's' now that could be interesting!
The slightly worrying thing is that the best man has organised our flights and to reduce costs and waiting around for bags, we only have 5 kilos allowed in our hand luggage. How am I going to pack for a long weekend with only 5 kilos? I might only have to pack 2 pairs of speedo's rather than three! I've had to get some clear bags for my liquids too!! I have never flown without a larger bag with me so I guess I will have to buy some travel cosmetics under 100ml too!
I am not sure whether any photos to follow up this post would be very sensible, lets just say that photos will be vetted before or if any will be posted on here.
I will be back in the office on Tuesday, mind you I may have a croaky voice so bare with me.
