As from today 8th August 2012, Royal Caribbean will not allow passengers to order luggage labels to be sent to your home address.
Once you have completed your online check in you will recieve a 'Guest Ticket Booklet' which will have paper luggage labels.
Now I have ranted about this before. Paper luggage labels will tear and once your bags are loaded on to the ship, your stateroom attendent will not know where to deliver your luggage, which in turn means you will have to trek down to guest services to identify and claim your bags!!
This will be an infuriating start to your trip. So I suggest you purchase a more substantial label or re-enforce your paper label with clear cellotape.
Royal Caribbean...you make enough money with drinks prices on board so why have you stopped this? I think you will need to hire a few more guest services staff to allow for the complaints you are sure to recieve, wait a minuite....if you do that then you will have to pay them so it just does not make financial sense!!
You are a 4 star company, you will have people starting to believe your standards are slipping and passengers might start looking elsewhere.
If you are a passenger feel free to join in my rant!!!!
